You can use for any product where it's possible to use image layers. A good start would be playing with ingredient images in any image editor that supports layers like Paint.NET or Gimp.

Also you can set the attribute price on Products->Attributes page. The price can be flat or a percentage of the total. It can also be a negative value. Video instructions on how to set up the price is here.
